Sly & The Family Stone is the first multi-gendered and multi-racial rock band to make it big on both a national and international level and The Bay Area is honored to have been their home. The 1969 album preaches messages of celebrating diversity, strength in community, and positivity.

UnderCover's previous tribute in January 2014 sold out 3 nights and had approximately 1800 in attendance, including 3 members of The Family Stone. This time around they have confirmed 5 members of Sly & The Family Stone to make appearances: Rustee Allen, Greg Errico, Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson, and Freddie Stone. Special thanks to KPFA Radio for co-announcing!
